Knightdale man charged in walking hit-and-run

RALEIGH -- A Knightdale man faces charges in a hit-and-run collision in Raleigh on Friday that harmed a pedestrian.

Police contend Kelvin G. Blackwell, 45, swerved around a stopped car at 2200 Poole Road about 7:45 p.m. and strike a walking who was perplexing to collect a round from the road, according to detain warrants. Blackwell left the stage but assisting the plant or withdrawal his personal information, the warrants say.
